Flexibility
The CU 3005 is a HSC machining centre for producing microtechnical parts. It comes in automated or manual versions and is highly flexible which, together with its good cutting speeds, allows it to produce perfect quality components and guarantees excellent machine capabilities as well as extremely short machining times.

Modularity
The basic configuration of the CU 3005 can take a wide range of auxiliary modules and equipment to extend the machining capabilities by adapting them to specific requirements. The CU 3005, although flexible and supple, however proves extremely rigid and stable. Its mechanically welded bed, filled with concrete, includes a load-bearing cast iron structure to enhance stiffness and provide maximum stability thereby ensuring the excellent surface finish of the workpiece being machined.

Autonomy
Workpieces can be simply loaded manually or with an optional robot integrated into the basic configuration. This allows the machining centre to operate continuously, day and night. The whole system is constantly supervised, inspected and controlled.

Specialization
The CU 3005 has excellent machining capabilities - make it essential for the production of microtechnical components demanding high cutting speeds, in particular for the machining of watch parts, bottom plates, bridges, blanks, etc...

The all-numerical high performance
The CU 3005 is equipped with a latest-generation numerical control (GE-FANUC 16i/160i, NUM 1050/ Axium Power) allowing for perfect quality high-speed circular interpolation. It is located to the left on the automated version of the CU 3005, and to the right on the manual version, and it has a high-resolution colour LCD screen.
