Hydraulic trimming presses "S" series are studied and designed for cold blanking of flashes from the hot forged brass components; they are also suitable for broaching, drawing, calking and drilling of steel, bronze, aluminium, copper and cast iron parts. "S" type trimming presses, equipped with a rotating table usually with four stations, can work not only with four trimming dies for big batches, but also just with one or two trimming dies, in case of small quantities of pieces. "PO" type trimming presses do not have the rotating table; therefore they work with just one working station. The trimming presses "S" type can also be integrated in an automated trimming plant, where a robot driven by a vision system can load the forged parts; this working island does not require the continuous presence of an operator.
